Terms of Service

To use Renderato, you need to create an account with a valid email address and password.

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. If someone accesses your account because your password was compromised, that's on you — but if it happens, let us know immediately and we'll help you lock it down.

One account per person. Don't share accounts or credentials with others. If your team needs multiple accounts, each person should create their own.

When you sign up, you receive 5 free renders. These are real credits — they work across every tool and never expire.

After your free renders are used, you can purchase credit packs. Credits are non-transferable between accounts. Credits never expire — they remain in your account until you use them, regardless of how much time passes.

Different tools may cost different amounts of credits. The current credit cost per tool is displayed in the app and on our pricing page.

All prices are displayed in USD and are final — taxes are included.

Payments are processed through our payment provider (currently Polar.sh). By making a purchase, you also agree to the payment provider's terms of service.

Refunds: You may request a full refund on unused credits within 7 days of purchase. After 7 days, credits remain in your account but are not refundable. To request a refund, email hello@renderato.com.

No refunds for render quality: AI-generated renders are non-deterministic — results vary based on your input, prompt, and style selection. Credits are consumed when a render is generated, regardless of whether you're satisfied with the result. We don't offer refunds or credit reversals for renders you don't like. If a render isn't what you expected, try adjusting your input, prompt, or style and render again.

We reserve the right to change pricing for future credit pack purchases. If we change pricing, we'll notify you via email at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Price changes do not affect credits you've already purchased.

You can upload images to Renderato for the purpose of generating renders. By uploading an image, you confirm that:

• You own the image, or you have the right to use it for this purpose.
• The image doesn't contain illegal content, hate speech, explicit sexual content, or content that exploits minors.
• The image doesn't infringe on someone else's intellectual property rights in a way you're not authorized to use.

We don't manually review every upload, but we reserve the right to remove content and suspend accounts that violate these rules.

Your inputs: You retain full ownership of everything you upload — sketches, screenshots, photos, floor plans. We don't claim any rights to your original work.

Your renders: Images generated by Renderato using purchased credits are yours. You can use them commercially — in client presentations, marketing materials, MLS listings, print, social media — without attribution. You grant us no rights to your renders except as needed to provide the service (storing them in your account, displaying them in the editor, etc.).

Free renders: Images generated using free trial credits are also yours to use commercially under the same terms.

Important exception: You may not claim that AI-generated renders are photographs or misrepresent them as physical photography. This is especially relevant for real estate listings where disclosure of virtual staging is required by most MLS boards.

Renderato — the platform, the code, the design, the brand, the documentation, and the AI models we use — belongs to us (or our licensors). Your use of the platform doesn't transfer any ownership of our intellectual property to you.

You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or redistribute any part of the Renderato platform.

Renderato uses third-party AI models to generate images. The output is non-deterministic — meaning the same input may produce slightly different results each time.

We don't guarantee that AI-generated renders will be architecturally accurate, dimensionally precise, or suitable for construction documentation. Renderato is a visualization tool for concept design, client communication, and marketing — not a substitute for technical drawings or engineering calculations.

We're not responsible for decisions made based on AI-generated images.

Don't use Renderato to:

• Generate content that's illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or discriminatory.
• Generate content that exploits minors in any way.
• Attempt to extract, reverse-engineer, or replicate the underlying AI models.
• Overload the platform with automated requests (bots, scrapers, API abuse).
• Resell access to or your credits to third parties.
• Misrepresent AI-generated images as photographs.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, without refund.

We aim to keep Renderato available and reliable, but we can't guarantee 100% uptime. Maintenance, outages, and bugs happen. We'll do our best to communicate downtime in advance when possible.

We may update the platform, add or remove features, or change how tools work. If we make changes that materially affect your use of the platform, we'll notify you via email or in-app notification.

You can delete your account at any time by contacting hello@renderato.com. When you delete your account:

• Your renders and uploaded images are permanently deleted within 30 days.
• Any unused credits are forfeited (unless eligible for refund under Section 4).
• Your personal data is handled according to our Privacy Policy.

We may also terminate or suspend your account if you violate these terms. We'll tell you why, unless doing so would compromise security or legal compliance.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Renderato is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that the platform will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that the AI output will meet your specific expectations.

Our total liability for any claim related to your use of Renderato is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We're not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption — arising from your use of the platform.
